I greatly enjoy planning and implementing a garden each spring. Few activities are as rewarding as watching seeds or starters grow to become a bountiful harvest. Gardening is a way for me to reconnect with nature and be more present in each season because growing your own food is a reminder of what can be grown locally and seasonally in Washington.

Nothing is more exciting to me than visiting a new place. I have been fortunate to see a lot of the world at a young age, yet there is so much more to see. I like to take micro-adventures around the greater pacific northwest area to get a better feel for all of the beauty right around me. Traveling will always be at my core, as it provides me with tremendous growth in my perspective and outlook.
Sustainable Living

I live in a community where it is only natural to pick up sustainable living practices. I cannot help but analyze my daily decisions with an environmentally conscious point of view. We are supported by immense biking routes and an incredible trail system all throughout the city of Bellingham. I make simple choices such as buying products with minimal packaging or used clothing with ethical standards because it makes me feel more aware and more deliberate as an inhabitant of our planet. I look forward to choosing long term purchases that are oriented in sustainable design.
